The road unfolds before me,
Arms spread open before me;
The future lies linked with the horizon,
Lying out in the open, further than vision.
The past sits behind me, deepest incision.
Glance back at the clouds and the gloom,
Each footstep moving away from the old place
Takes me further into sunset, into the unknown.
The road's unfolding beneath me,
Uncertainty shakes the ground beneath me;
Tomorrow shimmers over the horizon,
Yesterday lingers with ancient incision.

This is a chance for you, capturing the "future unknown" and the "incision past." Very cool! You should keep exploring this.
@Pen_of_Mjoollnir - Should and yet I probably won't. These kind of things pop up every once in a while then fade as quickly as they come.
