Do You See?
Do you see me?
Do you see me standing here,
Blood on my translucent hands,
Soaked in it, bathed in it, betrayed in it,
Holding my poor dead heart in my hands.
Do you see me bleeding here?
All over your precious carpet,
All over your precious, pretty, petty lies;
Do you see me standing here,
Screaming to deaf ears, bleeding for blind eyes,
Do you see the ghost here, holding her heart inside her hands?She's a ghost, floating through the atmosphere, blending into her surroundings, bleeding through walls, wailing lamentations to deaf ears, bleeding for blind eyes, screaming for Hell's own satisfaction.
"There were no ghosts. Only memory." ~Lisey Story by Stephen King.
